The last chapter was so great, I'm not sure what I was expecting in this one, but whatever it was I have to say I got it. Great, wonderful, very hot chapter. The word I keep thinking of is gritty, only it wasn't. Not quite. Just very exciting, and then that surprise at the end where Spike is touched by Liam's tenderness. Which was actually a very nice touch. Given Liam's proclivities towards roughness, why wouldn't Spike be surprised by consideration. And yet the way you wrote it, it wasn't anything special on Liam's part until Spike made it special.

I'll tell ya though, this puts a whole 'nother spin on the term "caveman".
