The poor babies! Once I baby-sat my father's cat and barely saw her for 18 days. The first day I was sure I had lost her since she found a hiding place where I couldn't see her - under the fridge! She would only come out at night after 9 to eat. She never really warmed to me or my appartment but she's a nutcase. Very savage. My own cat - a very insecure one year old rescued from the streets and who had changed homes a couple of times - had the opposite reaction: the first days, she insisted on sitting on my lap all the time. That made working on the computer quite difficult... I'm sure it will get better, once they realize you are a sweet humain being. Oh by the way, it's Marie, under a new name. «waves»
