the A/S/D isn't human AU, it's just strategically mangled canon, but maybe you meant you don't normally read het or something :) glad I could change your mind about human AU. there's some good stuff out there! check out erm, incasink, sexymermaid, spikesfool...err...felisblanco. they're all writing human AU spangel right now (well in the case of spikesfool's Lullaby...just read it. kinda human AU.) and they're all excellent. particular recs can be found in my link on the sidebar up there.
