first prompt call ever...eep

ok so....I haven't written anything in 2 weeks. I haven't even had the juice to *open my word processor* for two weeks. eep. it's fine, and I've just kind of let it be because sometimes you just don't feel like writing. at least half of it's because I started a new anti-depressant. last time I had a lag in my writing too. that's what happens when you monkey with brain/body chemistry.

but I feel the urge to do some scribbling. and after all, my therapist said I should write every day. actually *this* is really humorous, so I've got to share. this is how our conversation went....
her: so what are your other hobbies?
me: I write
her: oh good. what do you write?
me: (trying to avoid the word "porn") I write...short stories, basically.
her: oh? *waits for me to say more until I have to*
me: yeah, basically, it's...ok, I write fan fiction.
her: (as though I just spoke a foreign language) fan...fiction?
me: yeah, it's basically...well, we take the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and put the characters in....different situations and...see what happens. (then they all have hot monkey sex with one another)
her: *waits for more*
me: um. yeah, so it's this really great online community where you can share your writing and get feedback on what you're doing right and wrong and....
her: *watches me*
me: *cough* (thinks about trying to explain slash and decides she ain't ready) so yeah.

hahahhaa. it was way fun.

anyway, my point is, I want to scribble on something but I don't want to work on anything I'm invested in. so, throw some prompts at me. I can't promise which of them I'll actually write, because something has to catch my fancy. this isn't like a drabble call where I'll be writing one for each prompt for sure, so you're taking your chances. and I can't even promise they'll be good at the moment, but that is always the goal *g* I'm gonna play with them over the weekend.

This is purely selfish of me, but I'd like to read a Xander pairing written by you. Doesn't matter - slash or het - as long as it isn't Buffy. :)

Erm, post everything (and feel free to willfully ignore the comics) and bonus points for using either the word: Coulrophobia (clown fear) or Taphophobia, (grave fear - being buried alive).

Of course, if you want to do one of your lovely human AUs I wouldn't be disappointed with that either. :)

Ok, how about some Spike/Xander, have to ride on a motercycle up the CA coast for some reason, (looking for a monster, or someone, something, whatever) they're snarky but not -on-the-verge-of-chopping-off-body-parts- and they have to stop, (run out gas, lost?) end up an a beach under full moonlight (ok, it's my prompt dammit, quit laughing ;) if there's no ml Xander can't see... on second thought ml is optional, and some hot man luving happens.

Up to you if Spike *always* carries lube in his duster pockets (of course he does, duh!). Will turn cartwheels for water rushing over bare feet, and season 4 or 5 might get you a handstand!

Or pick it apart and keep whatever parts you want, just enjoy writing this, or another one, and I'll be happy!

If people only knew. And it would be fun to get the Freudian analysis on fan fic and slash! Or you know, just a regular therapist's analysis. Do you plan on ever telling her more about this stuff?

I tried to explain fan fiction (like you, in general terms) to my parents once. My dad sort of got it, but my mom...not so much. All the while I was imagining the looks on their faces if I explained the whole slash aspect, too, LOL.

Okay, porny prompt? Spike/Angel, a public place (not a show, though, just them getting off on doing it right under people's noses). Buffyverse setting or Human AU is fine. I'm easy, lmao.

Non-porny prompt? Spike/Xander, set between BtVS S5 and S6, Buffy's grave. (Feel free to use or ignore any of this next part. Like I said, I'm easy.) Spike's been visiting her grave, bringing her fresh flowers whenever they start to wilt. Xander happens upon him and they have an awkward, sort-of bonding moment. Bonus points if Xander mentions something about noticing the flowers there and suspecting it was Spike leaving them.

Forgot to say: For the Spike/Angel prompt, bonus points if one of them needs to be coerced/is reluctant at first. ;-)

Ok, so I know this isn't even near what you usually write, but eehm, change is good right? So, Faith/Dean. PWP, or actual story, I don't care. Those two together = hot. Or you could put someone else there too!

yeah, it makes sense that you'd have to sort of shift, with new ground to stand on, the way you're used to writing. i find that mood seriously affects what i want to write.
