(no subject)

I'm about to board my plane, and there's a toddler, who will presumably be on the plane with me, shrieking at that frequency only small children can attain. you know, the nails-on-the-chalkboard one? the one that makes you wish to go deaf?

yeah, that one.

if you hear on the evening news that some girl was charged for clubbing a baby over the head on an airplane (just hard enough to knock it out for a 4 hour flight! ...okay, that would have to possibly be too hard).....then I'll see you in 5 to 10.

on the other hand, I get to go see my sister and play with her kittens. WE LOVE KITTENS.

I'm afraid that will be us in two days.
However, I'll be packing some benedryl (unfortunately for the kids, not us), and we'll try not to offend the other passengers.

If anything, when my boys shriek, it's usually in great joy. I hope the kid calms down and may you have a pleasant flight. Where are you headed?

hahahha! Good Luck man. The other day i went to a movie, and said to my seat mate, "Oh, awesome. Somebody brought a baby."

He choked on his soda. *g* i'll come visit you in prison, but you'll have to let me know how the experience compares to Oz.

airplanes + babies = hell on earth

sister + kittens = The greatest things of all time! :D

Kittens are of the good. Always. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of babies.

Sorry to all the mamas out there. I like babies, but right now in Spain I have an issue with parents and good manners... :S

I’m sure you would be acquitted if you claimed the screaming made you insane. Anyone can understand that.

I still remember a trip to London (overnight of course) where a small child kicked our seats during almost the whole thing. Glares and requests to the parents resulted in only temporary stoppage. The last hour before breakfast my sleepless mind entertained frequent thoughts of tossing the child out a door.

I've got kids of my own, so I really feel for the parents, but... um, I've never had those problems with *my* kids, (at least not for more than a few minutes), so actually I feel more for you and your fellow passengers. Some kids are just plain *brats*, and thank god for that instinct humans have to protect their young or you wouldn't be the only one facing 5 to 10. ~g~

And on a different note, we just started feeding my cat a new cat food that is supposed to give her more *energy*, and my god, she is *bouncing* off the walls! She's only 5 yrs old, but she has seriously reverted to kittenhood, she's pouncing and doing sneak attack from under the couch and it's just f*cking *weird*. But my son loves it, of course! (He's almost 4)

I've been quiet lately, but I'm still out here! Hope you have a wonderful time with the kittens. (And the sister ~g~)
