In the last three weeks I've had biopsies taken from two parts of my body and ultrasounds to make sure there were no other growths.

All the results came back negative/normal.

I also had pain in my hip that was fixed with a big needles in about 5 minutes.

All is good in my world. I hope yours gets better soon!

This is just a silly thing, and probably very frivolous compared to what most people will say, but it was the first thing that sprang to mind when I read your post...

Today, a comment that shanmara left me made me laugh soooo hard that I cried and mocha spurted out of my nose. So, not only was I happy but everyone else in the office was as well because they got to laugh at me. Again.

(Of course, the IT department won't find it so funny when my laptop malfunctions from being full of coffee *g*)

Anyway, that was a nice point in my day. It's great to have friends that can bring you so much pleasure even though they're so far away. I'm sorry that you're having a rough time and hope you feel better. *hugs*

Ok...this might be a little strange. When I drink a lot of soda, I get kind of loopy like I'm drunk. I come up with really crazy ideas like making up a strange dance that involves running around shaking your head a lot. Of course, I ended up crashing into a door, which was really painful but hilarious. My friend caught it all on tape and every time I need a laugh, I just play the copy of the tape she made me. She does some really crazy things in it too. Hehe.

Here's some things that have made me laugh lately.

2: A story. The other day I woke to hear on ABC radio that a brothel in Melbourne specializing in bondage had been burned down. The chief of police was asked if anyone had been hurt and the normally very serious man answered with a twinkle in his voice that no-one had been injured and that thankfully these people were used to getting out of tight situations! This was such an unexpected answer that I nearly wet myself.
3: A funny fact. My son told me that on the game 'Civilization 4' you are given a performance rank of an equivalent world leader. The lowest rank is Dan Quayle. When we looked him up on Wikipedia we found this quote that he said while he was chairman of the National Space Council. He was asked his thoughts on sending humans to Mars. "Mars is essentially in the same orbit [as earth]....Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe."
4: A joke. A man walked into a psychiatrist's office wearing only plastic wrap wound around his groin. Well said the psychiatrist 'I can clearly see your nuts.'

Ok, funny story that happened last night - I was watching a movie with my roommate and she fell asleep with a drink in her hand, about 1/2 way throught the movie a loud noise happened jarring my friend out of her doze and she spilled her drink right in her crotch which made her come fully awake, it was kinda funny because she just lay there for a few seconds before she litereraly jumped to her feet, then she stood there for another couple more seconds before she looked down at her soaking crotch - she turns to me and says "tell me I didn't just piss myself while watching Duece Bigalow" I laughed so hard, the look on her face alone was hilarious!!
