heehee, well I will take your suggestion as a huge compliment to how much you are enjoying this fic.
of course, if I did all of that, this would be a very different story than the one I am telling, even if it still would be a good one. it *is* a romance, but not really the sort they sell with bare-chested heroes on the cover (not putting down romance novels, I've been known to read em myself). this is something grittier and more painful than that, but I think it's just as pretty in terms of the human experience.
