ok, as some of you know, I posted this chapter up at spuffy realm a few weeks ago because they seemed to need it more than yall. haha. and then I kept forgetting to post it at LJ. sorry bout that. anyway, here it is, I'd love some fb. *is a whore*

for those of you who missed my post about this fic, there are good reasons why it'll be some time before I update this again. but I felt as though chapter 8 was a bad place to leave the fic and there was no sense in not adding chapter 9 now that it was finally written. it resolves a few things. and creates a whole bunch of other problems, really, but you needn't think about that just yet. lol.

anyway, I love this fic even though my spuffy muse is a raging bitch. if I didn't love it so much I would have chucked it by now. I hope you enjoy the update :)

so, since I was talking to vamptastica about this just now...and a few people have poked me about it, I'm not abandoning the spuffy. that's not my intention. I have Plans for that one. in fact, I've pretty much sketched the whole rest of the course out with my beta (goddessofmercy <snogs her>), I just haven't *written it down* yet. I'm currently overstretched in the wip department, considering how little time I have to write these days, so what I'm doing is trying to plug away the two that are easiest to get out of the way, and then I'll be returning to the ones that I left dangling over the side of a cliff. that fic might be the one I'm actually proudest of at this point, in terms of the fic-to-work ratio, and we haven't even gotten to the dirtier kink yet! I couldn't possibly zone out before that :)

okay, posting this part hot off the presses, and then *next* weekend (not this one that is staring us in the face), I will be getting back on the weekend posting schedule. cross my heart. I had a crazy June, but it was good times, and now I'm all ready to tackle the rest of this thing (which is far from over, it appears).

I know, because everyone kept saying to me...where the ferk is this going?

anyway, when it started off it was supposed to be a pwp. turned into something angsty as hell and just as star-crossed. there's lots of porn, if you're up for that kind of thing, and a resolution of sorts in that I tell you where I was supposed to go with it. it was never completed properly. just thought I'd tell you that up-front]
