This is a good one. I say Supernatural, 'cause "Super" just doesn't sound right, but BtVS always sounds like Buffy to me - just like AtS is Angel.
What's funny is that fandom has been bad for me in terms of being lazy like that. Flist is definitely "flist" and not Friend's List or even F-List - and when I first started on LJ, I hated abreviations like that.
I still refuse to say Spander or Spuffy or Spangel or Spara or whatever else you can come up with. I will occasionally fall into the McShep trap from SGA (which is pronounced Atlantis, btw, and not SGA or even Stargate: Atlantis) But then I generally avoid that pairing if possible, so it doesn't come up all that often for me. It would come up even less, but there are just so damn many good writers in the fandom (along with a huge butt-load of really, really bad ones.)
