well even though i'm a spuffy at heart, and not one who gets off on angst of any kind i still think your storyline is the only way to have gone with this. yeah, there is no happy ending...but it's real and it's messy and it's so very human. because you're right, good people do bad things. people in love hurt each other, irreparably, without ever meaning too. good intentions can not save the day. i think your plans were fearless and "holding a mirror up to nature."
