and oh sweetie! the epilogue actually makes things better. it doesn't slap a perfect happy ending on with weddings and babies because that would ring false, I think, but it gives some hope for a future for the two of them together. it gives them a second chance to get it right. might wanna check it out if you feel that icky about the whole thing.
