a little spander pimp

so, I never pimp fics, because I'm new around here, and really, no one is asking what I think ;) but I'm reading this Spander right now that is by daedream_fanbot, and she is, as I understand it, brand new to writing slash. and I think it's a fic that deserves more attention, so I figure I'll pass on the good turn many of you have done for me and wave you in her direction. the fic is called Backfire. When I first picked it up on a whim, I expected your standard post-School Hard claiming fic, but it's not *really* claiming at all. It's something darker and more sinister than that, and Spike's intentions are wonderfully dubious. and when she had Spike pull Angel into the whole thing, my drool turned into undignified slobber. it's quite well done, so if you are at all spander-inclined, I nudge you in her direction. there is Spike/Xander, Angel/Xander, and if you squint really hard and clap your hands saying you believe in fairies, you might even see some spangel. lol. maybe that's just my wishful thinking. but Spike is as bad as you'd want him to be, and Xander is resentful and angry and turned on, and....yesh. read it.
