carry-on luggage question

hey guys, it's been a while since I've tried to get away with carryon only, but I'm flying to NYC tomorrow and I just don't wanna mess with checking.

what can you get away with these days in your carryon. safety razors? tweezers? I'm trying to figure out what I need to make sure to leave out
