I just read all the pieces of this series thus far, and I had to comment to tell you how impressed I am, and how much I enjoyed the stories. The second-person POV really works so well with Jensen's tendency to distance himself, and I cannot express how much I adore that you're exploring a masochistic character without giving him a history of sexual abuse. Other kinds of abuse, yes, and I like the acknowledgement of that, and also how often emotional abuse leads to rebellion and anger, while at the same time maintaining strong indications that Jensen has masochistic tendencies that would have come out anyway. So these stories are working really well for me on multiple levels before even getting into Jeff's complexities and the erotic elements. I look forward to what happens next.
