Oh yeh, that was good. I really like that Spike is teetering on the edge of me really not liking him at all, but then he's not quite the bastard he could be when dealing with Xan. I know there's a lot of enlightened self interest going on, but perhaps the jaded cynic isn't quite as hard as he sees himself.
