Just stumbled onto your story and I love it, as well as its prequel, WBD. I love the setting you've created and the characters are great. You've given such a rich history to both Angel and Spike to draw from. It really makes the possibilities thrilling.
Nice touch here highlighting the distinction between perception and reality with Spike's dad. Though something tells me that no matter how much we, the readers, like his dad - Spike's still got some issues to work through.
