yay, so glad you liked it that much. the...it's not *awkwardness* but the...lack of smoothness was so not what I was going for when I sat down to write it? so I wasn't sure how I felt about this chapter for a long time. but then I thought about how they are with one another and it felt right. in a way, it's sort of based on my own first experiences, which were with a more experienced guy, and we had been friends for a long time...and there was the same kind of trust, and like, willingness to show your underbelly, that Spike and Dawn have here. so after I realized that, I decided it was just right.
