5 Reasons I Love Spike 1. 'I don't want to hurt you, Baby. Doesn't mean I won't" 2. Love's Bitch, but man enough to admit it. 3. He "LIKED the lady" and brought her flowers anonymously because he knew Buffy and her gang wouldn't understand that he was grieving too. 4. Solace, in so many ways, Spike gave solace to all of them. 5. He burned up from the inside out to save a world that for all he knew was rife with people that hated him. A true Hero.
5 Reasons I love Angel 1. He wasn't afraid to leave for the RIGHT reasons. When he walked away from Buffy in S3, I cheered. Not because I hated B/A, but because they couldn't be together, and yet they couldn't not be together either. He was the adult. 2. Billowy coat, king of pain. Angel wore grief and soul deep anguish well. 3. "Connor. I love you. Now get the hell out of my house." Been there, done that. And he was totally right. LOVED him standing up in that moment. 4. I loved when Angel was goofy, when he could look at himself and know that he was being a total dork. Herb, the dancing at Cordelia's party, the schmoozing he did on Halloween at Wolfram and Hart! And that he LOVED hockey! Heee! loved that about him. 5. "I kinda want to slay the dragon." Hell yes. Terrible odd, almost certain death. Count him in, if it meant stopping the machine even for just a minute. If it meant that the Senior Partners would recognize that THEY do not control US, then damn straight, he'd be there. A hero.
Oooh! I'll play!
