okay, five reasons i'm in love with angel. (not TOP five, necessarily, but any random five.)
1. he jumps in the wrong car in "city of," then looks over and sees his own car and cusses.
2. he accuses a woman at a restaurant of being a witch when she's not, then cordy tells the woman he's french, and he says "pardon" in a french accent to cover.
3. he grudgingly admits that he liked spike's poems, although spike never grudgingly admits to liking anything about angel.
4. when wesley has a nervous breakdown in season three (right before he takes connor) and starts laughing in angel's room, and angel asks him what's funny, and wesley says "life! life is funny!" angel starts laughing too, even though he doesn't really get it. he's just happy.
5. he buys cordy every kind of sandwich.
6. he puts his arms around dreamdarla and asks if he can go with her.
7. he doesn't mind walking out of his shower naked in front of eve or talking to wesley naked.
8. in pylea, he tells this story about lindsey: "and then i cut off the evil lawyerbeast's hand and he screamed and he screamed... and then i left." and grins really big.
9. in the buffy ep. "lie to me" he goes to that vampire wannabe club and complains about all the dumb kids and says that no vampire actually dresses like that, and then a guy walks by wearing his exact outfit.
10. itty bitty hockey sticks.
11. he calls it "making love."
12. he stakes elizabeth, then cordy says it's not his fault (meaning buffy's death) and he agrees, pointing out that he didn't even know who she was at the time. as though if he had known, he wouldn't have done it - because she was family, and he has a very hard time killing his family.
13. he takes off his coat (in WitW) and holds it in front of his lap to hide his erection.
14. he sniffs cordelia's hair.
15. the cops suck sign on the back of lindsey's car.
er... got a bit carried away there. and these are just the first 15 that came to me right off. heh. i'll stop now. :)
and this hasn't been a slow week! i've been posting! read my story. :(
