heeheee. I was gonna say when I replied to your ch 9 comment, I've been stuck on chapters 11 and 12 for months. I'm so glad you enjoyed the deliberate touches of canon, because that's the bitch of it right now, haha. trying to balance the fact that I want their interactions to *mean* something in a canon meta way with the requirements of the new context isn't always easy. I've rewritten the ending 3 different ways and while I know the key events that have to happen, none of the tones I've tried end up being right. *headdesk*

so that's why the ending could be a while coming :)
