Pirates of the Caribbean fic recs

I've been binging on fic in the POTC fandom, because all the trailers have put me in the mood for some Jack/Will/Elizabeth. I know what a pain it is to find where the good fic hides in a different fandom, so I thought I'd throw some recs out there, for anyone that wants something different.

Jack/Will/Elizabeth = POTC OT3. that's just a lot of pretty put in one place, and it's a bonus that their personalities all mesh nicely, even where they're non-meshy. there's also a little jack/will, jack/elizabeth, jack/bootstrap, but those were kind of incidental to searching for ot3 fic, so they're all a little spare.

Fics in the POTC fandom tend to be short relative to Buffyverse fics. I have a couple longer fics bookmarked to read but haven't gotten to them yet, so if I like them I'll come back and add them later. for the most part, these are pretty bite-sized.



Will Turner/Jack Sparrow/Elizabeth Swann

Headfirst by ponderosa
Jack and Will are sharing Elizabeth…concurrently. Will isn’t sure he likes the arrangement. Jack, good man that he is, knows what’s wrong. NC-17.

Courtship by guide_mazaka
What I like about this fic is that in my w/j/e stories that I’ve seen, it’s all a little too easy. There’s very little jealousy and hurt feelings. This fic tackles that issue in the dynamic I would imagine it happening...Will finds Jack and Elizabeth together, and it doesn’t make him happy in the pants. fic is PG-13

Dance in the Moonlight by sister_wolf
established relationship. Sort of a little-boy-lost look at Jack that’s charming and beguiling. PG-13.

Dreadfully Late by ponderosa
Elizabeth is…dreadfully late. The boys are flustered…then, of course, competitive. Really funny. PG-ish

Of Shackles and the Sun by Nix
Jack attends Will and Elizabeth’s wedding. I think it goes on a little longer than it should, but the characterization is pitch-perfect and it’s highly amusing. A sample: The first time Jack Sparrow entered a church of his own free will, it notably failed to crumble around him in protest. He found that rather disappointing. PG

You and Me and the Devil Makes Three by fabu
When Will and Jack kidnap Elizabeth before her wedding to Norrington, she leaves without getting the full picture. This is sort of a different take on the threesome…a pissing contest between Elizabeth and Jack. I can see it. R.

A Scandalous Lack of Morals by ponderosa
established relationship. Playful porn. Good stuff. NC-17.

Jack gives the newlyweds his cabin. Hot little piece of voyeurism. R.

Falling by sister_wolf
Elizabeth has a very good dream. NC-17.

Jack and Will are in the closet, literally. It quickly becomes figurative. Very funny little dialogue piece. PG-13

Bittersweet. For once, Jack puts himself second. R.

Twinkle and Twirl by monimala
Fills in the gaps of the infamous night on the island in the first movie. Canon suggests that they didn’t have sex, and the author runs with that…and plays with it. Jack is a horrible flirt and Elizabeth is a horrible tease, and it’s fun. Probably PG-13 or R.

interesting pre-canon take on how Will was conceived. Lot of stuff packed into this story. NC-17.

i figured it out. mel was right, you just click on the link, and then copy it and repaste it into the address bar. for some reason, that makes it work. :)

I just shortened the url to http://www.ponderosa121.com, and went to the artwork section from there. That way I didn't know exactly which art Mel recced, but I could pretty well guess, lol.

Very pleased to see a drawing that actually catches the look of its subjects (Dean especially, but Sam too, in the kissing pic), it's not perfect but it's got that... Dean thing...
You know, I'm the strange girl who doesn't like kissing, and so strings of saliva between mouths is pretty nasty. In reality. But it works just fine for me when it looks like this, and bondage just works most of the time! Sam and Dean, baby. Tie'em up an' hurt'em!

I haven't yet read any PotC fic, though I've been meaning to because it sounds like there's some good stuff in that fandom.
