ok, now that I have the attention of all 3 of you :) I don't read much spn fic. honestly, I can't be bothered. the fandom is fucking overflowing, and I'm lazy. therefore, most of the fics I have to rec, I owe to either the direct recommendation or the pointing-in-the-general-direction of

I have no fucking clue who most of these people are. and I have very particular tastes in the fandom, and I don't really read outside of them, because...see: can't be bothered. er, it should be said that incestfic isn't the staple of my spn diet, nor is j2...not because I think either of them is wrong or unhot, I just...I dunno. it's not my favorite. but there's some of that here, obviously, because...well...it's *spn*.

Dean tries to give Sam the perfect night at the prom, even though Sam is hopelessly inept with his date. I could snog this fic forever.

Dean is funny, he smiles and cracks jokes and makes fun of the gnarly scar running across his head, and calls himself "gimpy" because of his leg. David decides he likes him a whole lot.

I totally see the UST particularly between JDM and JA on the screen but imo (and everyone's entitled to their own), John would cut off his dick before he touched his sons. but JESUS FUCKING CHRIST do I love this fic. the best of the bunch. GAH. it takes the idea that john would rather cut off his dick than touch his sons and just...wraps it around some dbw porn and strangles me with it. I'm a glutton for the punishment.

I *cannot get enough of this pairing*. I spent two weeks a while ago devouring everything I could get my hands on. I think it's the best friend - old friend angst and comfortableness and roots-connecting. GAH.
