thatotherpervI had a nightmare last night that I did a drabble call in an attempt to kick-start the muse and you all lynched me because I haven't actually *produced* anything from the last like...3. hahah. *facepalm* but for real, I have the urge to write but no nothing when I sit down, so I was thinking about doing one. don't hurt meeeeee. *ducks n covers*

madame_meretrix got me a llama. just what I always wanted! *snogs*
today I'm driving 3 hours round trip for a haircut. and color (red highlights...and yes, I know it's winter. hush). whatever, my hairdresser in Austin's going out of the business, and this is my last chance. I still can't believe I'm going all that way, though.
I miss Jason :( Jason being Bethany's cat and my new best friend, for those that missed the memo. so let me tell you all about Jason, because I miss him. Jason is polydactyl and has thumbs. here, I have a picture:
isn't he the cutest? and in motion, he looks like a cartoon character, truly. his little face looks very cartoonish. and he's a Talker. Jason has thinnnnngsssss to say. oh! and when he sees another cat outside, he snorts like a piggy. honest to christ, I've never heard a cat make that sound in my life, it's a piggy snort. but he's also a chicken shit. I didn't meet him for the first week I lived there, he's so shy. but then we bonded, because we're both big goofy dorks. jason likes long walks on the beach, being fed an hour early, and being thumped like a dog. also, he purrs like a motorboat. and is a little whore for attention (once he loves you) and will put up with anything you do to him, just about. he's one of those cats you can pick up and move around on your lap and he just looks at you like *shrug* and goes back to purring. what else. he likes grooming his people. I frequently got bathed when I petted him. and seriously, thumbs! and affectionate head-butting.
the day that I left, he was getting more and more agitated and clingy to me, and when we went to load the car, we couldn't find him, and we looked all over and finally found him wedged in the back of the master bedroom closet. dude, he was EmoKitty. seriously. he was all hunched up in the corner and gave me the cold shoulder when I tried to say goodbye. he laid the guilt on THICK.
I need my own cat :(
but bethany's bringing jason and medea (who thinks I'm beneath her) tomorrow and I'm keeping them until they return from their trip to morrocco in late January, so. *dances*
