I suck, and I've got nothing for you because I didn't realize it was your birthday till 11pm last night *headdesk* I have been in a fandom coma this week, I swear. how about I dedicate the first chapter of I Burn to you, hmm? I should be posting it soon, and I know you're excited about that idea. wish I could offer something specifically for you, but I am burned.out. on birthday fics.

"deleted scenes" from Won't Back Down / Backup

I figured out a way to give madame_meretrix a nice birthday surprise without doing any extra work. haha. that sounds really bad, but she knows how I mean it.

so, MM delurked me when she read Won't Back Down and Backup. now that I look back, I'm surprised that she liked it, because it's really not her style. haha. then again, I'm always a little surprised these days when people tell me how much they love WBD. I can't even reread it anymore because I'm so self-conscious of the writing, but I think I get it...there's something about that story that's just...warm and fuzzy and comforting, even with the angst. it's like a woobie.

these are 2 scenes that I like, but that never made it into the final cut of the fic because they didn't fit the flow and pace of the end. both of them fit between the final chapter of Backup and the epilogue. if you needed a refresher, those two parts are here

before anyone gets excited, there's no porn. hahaha. sorry! if there had been sex, I'm sure it would have made its way into the proper fic, because I'm a whore. on with the show!
