1. what does it mean when CJ says "it's a full lid." I might be writing that wrong, but I think that's it. I know what it means contextually, that the press briefing is over, but you know. lid. ??

Didn't they use "That's a lid" to mean "That's a wrap?" Like an end to a press conference? Does "a full lid" work in the same way?

I think "here" when I hear that phrase.

yeah I think it's the same thing, I just don't understand why it's lid. like....you've put a lid on the subject, maybe? it's just an odd turn of phrase to me
